The Explorer : Modern Romance

Lucy is a young British woman from a well-respected family whose crooked father wasted the family fortune ending up in prison and leaving her and her brother disgraced. Lucy has an option to marry their cousin Alec, an explorer who travels across Africa. At first she declines his proposal because she believes in her father innocence and wants to support him, but when he dies, Lucy turns for Alec's attention once again.
