"El fantasma de Canterville" ("The Canterville Ghost") es un relato, dentro del género cuento por tener un argumento simple y la historia es breve sin episodios secundarios, sin embargo se lo considera una novela corta por que el relato esta dividido en capítulos y cuenta con una multiplicidad de descripciones.Del escritor, dramaturgo y poeta británico-irlandés Oscar Wilde, publicado por primera vez en 1887 en la revista The Court and Society Review. En 1891 fue incluido en una colección de historias cortas titulada El crimen de lord Arthur Saville y otras historias.
