From 5 Under 35 honoree and Rona Jaffe Award winner Merritt Tierce, comes a searing portrait of a Dallas waitress that heralds a razor-sharp new literary voice. Merritt Tierce received her MFA in fiction writing from the Iowa Writers' Workshop, where she was named a Meta Rosenberg Fellow. Her first published story, " Suck It" was anthologized in New Stories from the South, edited by ZZ Packer. Her work will also be featured in the forthcoming collection Dallas Noir.
