In Spiritual Turbulence in the Church – Who Left the Door Open?, Dr. Darlene Townsend delivers a bold, Spirit-led revelation on the condition of the modern Church. She exposes the spiritual chaos, compromise, and complacency that have taken root in the Body of Christ — calling believers to “buckle up for the turbulence” and prepare for the purification that must begin “in the house of God.”
“The Christian Church has become a platform for just about ‘anything goes.’ The aroma is sending a dreadful stench into the nostrils of God.”
With prophetic clarity, she draws parallels between natural turbulence — the unsettling, unpredictable force that shakes an aircraft — and spiritual turbulence, the unrest that arises when unrepentant sin, false doctrines, and worldly agendas infiltrate the Church. “When professing believers engage in unbiblical lifestyles that are practiced, celebrated, and endorsed by the church,” she warns, “it produces spiritual turbulence.”
