Allen wakes up in an unfamiliar room. He soon learns he’s in an inn in Caldea, the royal capital of the Kingdom of Adastera. But something is wrong. The last thing he remembers is defeating the hierophant alongside his trusted companions.

Now, those memories are nearly gone...and even more unsettling, the people closest to him don’t seem to remember him at all. Noel, Mylène, and Anriette now treat him like a stranger, and what’s more, they’re not quite the same people he knew. Have their memories been tampered with? Or has Allen somehow slipped into a parallel world?

With no way to tell what’s real and what’s illusion, Allen turns once more to the guild, and then Vanessa entrusts him with a dangerous task—a request that isn’t as simple as it seems.
