John Galsworthy (1867-1933) var en brittisk författare och dramatiker, vars mest kända verk är romanerna som ingår i Forsytesagan. 1932 belönades han med Nobelpriset i litteratur med motiveringen "för den förnäma skildringskonst, som i The Forsyte Saga uppnått sitt högsta uttryck".
