Darcy simply must marry Anne. It is his duty, for pity's sake! And yet the man has done nothing. Anne de Bourgh isn’t getting any younger—and neither is Anne’s mother, Lady Catherine. Darcy must fulfill her late sister’s dearest wish!
But when Lady Catherine gets a look at the Collins’ lovely house guest, steel enters her soul. Darcy must marry Anne and soon!
Inspired by a rubbishy novel found in the garden, Lady Catherine takes matters into her own hands. If Darcy is forced to spend a week alone with Anne, he will have to marry her—like it or not!
Plans are carefully made. On the appointed day, Darcy disappears. Anne, however, is still at home. Then Lady Catherine learns that Elizabeth Bennet is missing.
Merciful heavens! Have those unprincipled ruffians made off with the wrong girl?
