Joe and Kate find two young children who were lost in the mountains. The mother of the children is dead, and the father is outlaw Ripper Connor, who leads a gang of murderers and robbers who are wanted by the law from Texas to Montana. When Collins learns where his children are, he will stop at nothing to reclaim them, even if it means burning the town of Bow River and killing everyone there.
