Shinobu has gained a new ally in Alice, whom he rescued from a slave market. Though she believes she’s useless because she couldn’t form contracts with any of the Four Great Spirits, Shinobu soon shows her a shocking truth. She then joins the ranks of Shinobu’s home base, Izanach, becoming acquainted with several new summons, including the gatekeeper. Shinobu sends Alice back to her previous magic academy to help develop her skills, where she gets into a showdown with a former rival.
