Time has passed since the unprecedented stampede that attacked Rakana was quelled, and Seika and the others have been given adventurer ranks for their achievements. The party gets bored of hanging around Rakana now that its dungeons are gone and decides to take on a guild request from a nearby city.
They set out into a forest to fulfill the request, where they find a pair of adventurers beset by monsters. After Seika and his party rescue them, the pair asks them to rescue their kidnapped comrades. However, Seika soon realizes that there’s more to both them and their request than meets the eye.
