When they are invited to the Brighton palace of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, a Martian- and Venusian-inspired architectural marvel, the mechanically-bent Arabella finds herself drawn to the princeâs steam-powered Merlin chair and two-wheeled Draisine.
