In 1991, the United States was the only global superpower. It seemed that the 21st century, like the 20th, would belong to America. Then came the stock market bubble, the costly foreign unilateralism of the younger Bush presidency, and the financial catastrophe of 2008. Meanwhile, China was rising and the Middle East was awakening politically. Today it is clear that America is vulnerableâto domestic and international decline and unregulated greed.

Immediately you can spot a thoroughbred politician and a great analyst. It is no wonder that in Carter's time the USSR was dealt with. It is a great pity that there are currently no such statesmen - not only in the USA and other countries, but even in Russia. A strategic vision - unfortunately accurate, but in the worse version of the actions of politicians - and let us hope that it will not come true until the end.
