There are many solid points, although some of the advices might not be based on a very deep understanding on psychology. For example, when it comes to forgiveness, it is often common to tell people to do so for their own sake as well. But behind the lack of forgiveness can actually be a very deep seated loss of trust and insecurity that makes the person unable to drop their defenses and be vulnerable by forgiving. In the end, we can read books and incorporate what does resonate and that's OK.
