Sten visits Rickard at his new foster home in Karlstad.
They go water skiing, and try out the family’s gym and game room down in the basement. There is exercise equipment, pinball machines, a pool table, a ping pong table …
Sten goes to school with Rickard. And during gym class, the whole class gets to play in the city’s playhouse. There are trampolines in the floor, ball pits, climbing walls, zip lines, rope ladders, and other fun stuff.
When Sten is about to go back home to Örebro, he gets down and sad. His fear and anxiety about soon having to go to a new foster home in Stockholm take over, and now he’s thinking about running away.
He wants to be alone and walks out into town by himself. And he soon comes up with the idea of running away. But he has time to change his mind.
He gets lost in town. Tries, but can’t find his way home.
A pizza baker helps him.
And soon he gets a surprising and unexpected message that makes him happy again.
