Ich bin zwiegespalten. In seinen Grundzüge ist dieser Roman wirklich gut. Mit Ende zwanzig zu realisieren, dass vieles im Leben anders ist als man angenommen hatte - das passiert. Gemma ist ein gutherziger, chaotischer und etwas unbeholfener Charakter. Was wirklich anstrengend ist: die Story zieht sich wie Kaugummi. Manche Szenen erscheinen wie eine Kopie der vorherigen und das Tempo wirkt wie in Zeitlupe. Und das ist schade, da der rote Faden, die Auseinandersetzung mit der neuen Erkenntnis (wer bin ich, was will ich, wie setze ich es um) eigentlich gut umgesetzt ist und schön gezeichnete Nebencharaktere mit einbindet. Ich habe dreimal überlegt, das Hörbuch abzubrechen, habe letztendlich durchgehalten und freue mich darüber, denn in Summe war es ein gutes Buch - eines, das man um vier Stunden hätte kürzen können.
