Lulu Delacre
Lulu Delacre, a New York Times bestselling artist and three-time Pura Belpré Award honoree, has been writing and illustrating children’s books since 1980. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico to Argentinean parents, and her Latino heritage and her life experiences inform her work.
