After the death of a ruthless and greedy duke, the ruler of the fictional kingdom of Dolaran launches a competition to choose a new duke and says that whoever shows proof of true honour will be awarded the title. Two brothers, Lucius and Primus, from the Pearata family, are entrusted by their father to win the prize and make their family worthy of the position. However, this plan is interrupted when Lucius falls in love with a nun.
