Om denne bog

A gorgeous flapped paperback edition of Lewis Carroll's timelessly whimsical tale.

Alice is terribly bored of having nothing to do. So, when the White Rabbit rushes past her clutching his pocket watch, she can't help but follow. One tumble down a hole later, and she finds herself in Wonderland: a dreamlike world governed by riddles and nonsense.

Here, Alice grows and shrinks at the most invonvenient moments. She takes advice from a talking caterpillar, joins the Mad Hatter's tea party and even plays croquet with the tyrannical Queen of Hearts. But as her adventure grows curiouser and curiouser, will Alice ever reach the right height - or feel like herself - again?

Part of the new Pushkin Children's Classics series of thrilling, magical and inspiring stories from around the world, which young readers will return to time and again.

Lewis Carroll was the pen name of the Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832-1898), who was a mathematician and Oxford academic, wrote works of satire and logic and was a keen photographer. He was also the most famous children's author of his day, celebrated for his Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, as well as his collections of nonsense verse, such as The Hunting of the Snark.
