I'm a HUGH fan of Liv Zanders books and I had been looking forward to The Heartstring duology. But after reading the first book in the series I am disappointed. It was too predictable, too shallow in its character build and for me the story never really peaked. The setting was to much like The King of Flesh and Bones - a duology of hers that definitely hold its ground - but in this book it doesn't. Liv Zanders duology Court of Ravens is still one 9f my favourites but this one Crown me Dead is not.
