Merlot Glasswing, a young and troubled man, reawakens from a traumatic incident involving his friends on a boat. He soon realizes that he has a strange power to create insects out of his imagination. While he suffers from issues regarding self-worth, he meets his previous girlfriend and wishes to have a second chance with her.
Meanwhile, he discovers a temple near his home where there are people who look uncannily like him. On one hand, he tries to lead a normal life; on the other hand, he must try to find the cause of the mystical insects and the clone-like people.
However, given his circumstances, will a normal life be possible for him?
