Terry is done with Maggie. In the bedroom, she's the perfect sub but she's too stubborn to let him take care of her outside of the bedroom. He's done everything he can to make sure she's safe and happy, but she fights him every step of the way.
And he's done.
Until she needs his help. He can't refuse but once he's taken care of her at her weakest moment he has to flee. He has to quit seeing her. It's the only way for him to protect his heart and he can't lose another family. He'd never survive.
Maggie is fed up with Terry's overbearing ways. He just won't listen to her. He doesn't even try to understand that she needs to be able to take care of herself. She can't rely on another man.
But when he helps her again he wedges himself firmly in her heart. Too bad he's running away as fast as he can.
