Hence, it is neither a systematic exegesis of the scriptures nor a doctrinal teaching, rather a look at human experiences of suffering and God's intervention in the light of the gospels. It is meant to encourage all who suffer that our God in Jesus Christ is always available to bring them comfort and healing.
