Granted a reprieve from external threats, Souma turns his attention to issues on the domestic front. Countless refugees have been displaced from their homes by the Demon Lord’s Domain and now reside illegally within his country’s borders. With no ideal solution in sight, Souma confronts the problem with conviction! He arranges a meeting with their leader and proposes an ultimatum:
“You have to choose. Will you abandon your longing for your homelands and become citizens of this country, or will you leave?”
Now torn between a yearning for their origins and a desire to find a new place to call home, what will the refugees decide?
