Kishkinda Kand : in English rhyme

In Kishkinda Kand, through forests they tread,

Rama and Lakshman with hope ahead.

They meet Sugriva, the banished king,

From Vali’s rule, they plan to bring.

With Hanuman’s aid, their bonds grow tight,

Rama vows to restore Sugriva’s right.

Vali, the mighty, falls in the fray,

Sugriva's throne is reclaimed that day.

Rains of monsoon, their mission delays,

But soon they plan in sunlight’s rays.

Hanuman leaps to Lanka’s shore,

To find Sita, their hearts implore.

Kishkinda’s tale of bonds and might,

Sets the stage for Lanka’s fight.
