Edgehill, Oregon’s own secret witch, Amber Blackwood, is still reeling from the loss of her friend Melanie Cole. As the town’s resident odd duck, Amber doesn’t have many close ties in Edgehill. So when a vandal threatens the safety and livelihood of Betty Harris, the owner of Purrfectly Scrumptious across the street, Amber wants to help.

The vandal broke in during the dead of night to smash the cupcakes stored in Betty’s freezer for an upcoming hoity-toity wedding—a wedding that will help boost both the reputation of Purrfectly Scrumptious and the Harrises’ bank account. But the demands of the Bridezilla are driving everyone in town batty.

Things only get worse when one of Betty’s cupcakes causes the Bridezilla to go into anaphylactic shock. Now, on top of being accused of attempted murder, Betty fears the very wealthy families footing the bill for the wedding are going to sue her out of her livelihood.

Determined to prove her friend innocent, Amber searches for the perpetrator behind the attacks. Is someone targeting Betty and her shop, or trying to hurt the bride-to-be? All Amber knows is that she must stop the saboteur before Betty loses much more than her beloved cupcake shop.
