Who is Vidor Kiraly, and what is he hiding?
Following a violent outburst at an awards ceremony, Vidor, a prize-winning neuroscientist and Cambridge don, is sent to an isolated psychiatric clinic in the Swiss Alps.
Vidor claims to have no memory of the incident as the director of the clinic, Dr Anton Gessen, tries to unearth the reason behind his erratic behaviour. After one of Gessenâs other patients goes missing, Gessen has reason to doubt Vidorâs innocence.
To complicate matters, Gessen is certain he has met Vidor before.
Can he piece everything together before itâs too late?
