"I didnât ask to organize this wedding, and I certainly didnât ask for the worldâs worst best man as an assistant. But my brother is marrying the love of his life, and Iâll stop at nothing to give him a perfect wedding dayâand get our familyâs Inn some much-needed publicity in the process. And that means playing nice with James Weston. My brotherâs best friend and I have been feuding for as long as I can remember. We donât like each other, plain and simpleâor is it? Is it possible that James isnât the monster Iâve always thought him to be? And why does he keep showing up to save me right when I need him? (Not that Iâd EVER admit it) Falling for James is not on my carefully color-coordinated agenda. Too bad nothing seems to go according to plan when James Weston is around... The Next Worst Thing is a sweet rom-com with all the swoony kisses and chemistry, but no explicit content. Enjoy ridiculous mishaps, a hilarious cast of quirky small-town characters, and a heartwarming HEA thatâs sure to give you all the feels."

đ - 5/10 đĽ - 0/5 đ§ - 0/5 An adorable brothers best friends to lovers, small town romance. It's a clean romance story, so it's suitable for various ages. The interaction of the two is quite tender. Having both points of view, lets you know how each of them feels. Ivy has quite a few confidence and anxiety issues, this has been triggered by the death of her parents. The way James gets past the walls she's built, getting under her skin, and slowly gaining her trust, is very cute. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a light and fast paced read.
