Making Movies

e-book

Sometimes, the best movies are the ones we make ourselves...

Lauren usually loves her company's holiday bash.

But last year, someone (definitely not Lauren’s husband Ray, definitely not) left his boxers in the board room. And so this year, the invitation was very clear: no spouses, no boyfriends… no Ray.

What’s a girl to do?

She heads home to ravish her husband, that’s what.

Only Lauren arrives home — amorous, tipsy, and ready to go — to find her husband and her best friend tucked into the living room… watching a holiday movie.

What’s a girl to do about that?

Lauren’s answer is to completely upstage the movie, much to her own, her husband’s, and even her best friend’s (vicarious) satisfaction!

“Lauren!” Chandra tottered over, throwing her arms around Lauren. “You look as if you can’t decide whether you’re very hot or very cold.”

“‘Bout right,” grunted Lauren, staring at her husband, who was licking his lips.

“Also,” mused Chandra, “you smell like you’ve had rather a lot of whiskey.”

“Have.”

Chandra led Lauren into her own living room. “Come along. We’re watching a very confusing film.”

“Confusing?” Lauren looked over at her husband.

He shrugged. “Party let out early?”

Pouting again, she toddled over and plopped herself in his lap. “Wasn’t as much fun without you.”

“I bet.” She could feel the smirk in his kiss.
