On that July night in 1947, when an incredibly powerful storm was reported to be seen in the New Mexico skies, something was brought to earth. Something that would forever change the lives of many, most notably the head of intelligence of the 509th Heavy Bombardment group, and my grandfather, Major Jesse Marcel, as well as civilians, like rancher Mac Brazel.
