Al Griot, Viola Bommer and Rudolf Stenzinger tell this fairy tale from Burkina Faso like traditional African bards, the griots. It is about a little girl who is treated so shabbily by her stepmother that she would rather live with the animals down by river than continue to lead this dog's life. Finally, however, with the help of a river fairy, she succeeds in awakening the conscience of the villagers. With drums, all kinds of percussion, vocals, double bass and many other instruments, this encouraging story comes to life as if it had really happened ...
