Okay I find the idea of human-like androids really fascinating. It's a sweet story about a man and an android falling in love together and exploring what it means to be human. What it means to be alive. They get along well and it was nice to see their bond become stronger. Lloyd never treats Shaun like he's less than him. ♡ He couldn't because Shaun acted like a real person. Sometimes even I forgot he was an android. I didn't give this full 5 stars because sometimes the story felt like it wasn't going anywhere: every day felt similar with maybe small changes in Shaun. I thought it was too simple for me. But the last chapter before the epilogue had me on the edge of my seat.
