The Darkest Flame

Story-wise the book is alright, the characters are lovable tough guys with golden, soft hearts, and the motorcycles and biker club made for an entertaining setting. Sex scenes were hot and nice, and even though the plot was mostly predictable,the book did keep me in its grip. So, why just the three stars and no more? I wanted to give it at least 4 stars, but to my dismay the writing style made me agonize to get through some dialogues from early on. I'm absolutely allergic to excess use of dialogue tags. Even when the author's not showing but telling us, that I can stomach. The suspense of how many "X said - Y said'" dialogue tags were used in one paragraph is not the kind I like... That got in my way of enjoying the story itself too many times throughout the book. If you're not as nitpicky as I am in regards to it you'll have even better a time with this.
