Acotar-sarja ei ole mikään kirjallisuuden mestariteos muutenkaan, mutta trilogiassa oli sentään jotain viihdyttävää. Tämä jatko-osa on tylsä ja turha, hahmotkin tuntuu entistä latteammilta.
