I can't give it a 5 star only because it's not "Crime and Punishment", but it's a beautifully written & told story about the journey into becoming a more environmental friendly person, even if you do not live in the USA. It's a smart example on how to eat local, grow (some of, at least) own foods, how to olan & think the process of gardening, etc. What a family, what a journey: 1 year of growing most of their food and buying local products (except coffee - we almost all understand that).
