Ann-Sophie and Christian experience their last cold Christmas in Germany with lots of snow. Aunty Gretel from Sunday School has told them a lot about Jesus... that he came into the world to help the people and that he loves children a lot.
After a short time the small family emigrates to Brazil.
Ann-Sophie and Christian are scared because they do not know whether Jesus will be with them in Brazil or whether he will stay in Germany.
Their first Christmas in Brazil with heat and without snow makes them worry again about Jesus not being in Brazil. Jesus meets Ann-Sophie in a dream and lets her see the truth.
