Who knew our enemies could be good? Not me. Unfortunately, it’s because our allies suck.

The Universe works in mysterious ways. Or maybe it was never the Universe. Maybe it was a vampire. Yeah, it was definitely a vampire - Orlando. He’s dangerous. Conniving. Manipulative. Annoyingly hot. And now I owe him. Great.

But I’ll do anything for Kingston, Diego, and Austin. The truth of my existence leaves us scrambling to make sense of our lives. Because who I am jeopardizes everything we know. Turns out, vampires aren’t the only predators. Now, there’s me.

So, if dealing with Orlando is the only way to keep our lives together how we want, then I’ll sacrifice a bit of my time and blood in exchange for protection. I’ll do it to assure my three perfect vampires live the life of happiness they deserve. That they remain free. I just wish I could say the same for me.
