In the beginning, for some first chapters, I got the disappointed feeling that this book was going to be something along the lines of "the Fifth Element meets Twilight". I'm so happy to find I was wrong. I loved the expanding lore and character traits that explained the things I questioned in the first part of the series. Now I thirst for the next part like a newborn vampire does blood...
