I loved The Southern Vampire novels, Sookie was great. This FMC is absolutely nothing like her, which is ok. There's not supernatural characters in this series. Harper and her brother have a weird codependent relationship and Harper sees dead people. The series itself is weird and not in the good way. The towns are weird, the other characters are weird. All in all, it was a ok, but I got bored with it.
