Los selk'nam u onas contaban que al principio eran las mujeres las que gobernaban a los hombres. Para mantenerlos dominados celebraban una gran fiesta donde las mujeres representaban espíritus temibles, divertidos y malévolos.
The Selk'nam people, or onas, believed that in the beginning of time women governed the lives of men. To keep them under control they would celebrate with a great party in which the women represented fearsome, evil but very entertaining spirits.
