This book is everything I hoped for in a detective action romance novel. It opened up the characters well enough for them to become live, feeling entities and the pains each carried were credibly depicted - as were the solving of them. A huge thank you to the narrator. His voice and way of lending it to the characters pulled me in from the first sentence.
