Burke is often remembered for his support of the American Revolution and his opposition of the French Revolution. Burke wrote his criticisms of the French Revolution in a famous memoir titled Reflections on the Revolution in France. Burke warned the Revolution would cause more harm than good. The Reign of Terror that followed the Revolution proved Burkes cautions to be well founded.
