”Then, Samkiel, you will know this is how the world ends.”
But it was not this world. No, it was mine.
It was Dianna.
The world quakes in fear as the last shred of Dianna’s humanity is ripped from her. As it should. Grief consumes Dianna, burning away any semblance of good within her and threatening the budding relationship between her and Liam. Now, Liam must pull her back from the brink of complete damnation before time runs out.

This story, so far, has been a big disappointment after all the hype. To me it's just a hot mess and getting boring. Reminds me of Zodiac Academy and From Blood and Ash. Mindless killing, raging, bickering and battling. Blood and entrails, remorseless murdering and then suddenly caring about somebody for no apparent reason. No world building, just flashbacks to history. Not much romance so far either, although you know we're getting there. Graphic Audio also didn't hit the mark this time. The music and the sound effects are too loud and often quite awkward. Finally, 2 language points that threw me right off. First of all, the narrator of Dianna mispronounces the word "ancient", although she is American, and she uses the word A LOT! Secondly, why has nobody ever wondered why the author chose a Finnish word for the creatures that apparently are supposed to be gargoyles!? I lost the plot each time I heard "irvikuva"!
