Saint Teresa of Avila (also known as Saint Teresa of Jesus) (1515-1582), was a Spanish nun and mystic, and is recognized as a Doctor of the Church. The Way of Perfection and Conceptions of Divine Love are two of Saint Teresas most famous works.
