    Ruth Hogan

    Ruth Hogan syntyi Bedfordissa Englannissa perheeseen, jonka äiti työskenteli kirjakaupassa. Ruth luki kaikki kirjat, jotka vain sai käsiinsä, ja erityisesti Muumi-kirjat olivat hänelle mieluisia. Hogan suoritti yliopistossa kirjallisuuden ja teatteritaiteen opinnot ja teki työuraa ensin paikallisen hallinnon palveluksessa, kunnes kolmikymppisenä alkoi työskennellä osa-aikaisesti ja käyttää kaiken vapaa-aikansa kirjoitustyöhön. Hogania on tituleerattu feel good -romaanien kuningattareksi, ja hänen teoksiensa käännösoikeuksia on myyty kymmeniin maihin. Huhtikuussa 2022 ilmestynyt Madame Burovan kuu ja tähdet on hänen neljäs suomennettu romaaninsa. Aiemmin häneltä on julkaistu suomeksi romaanit Kadonneiden tavaroiden vartija, Lauluja variksille ja Queenie Malonen Paratiisihotelli.
