Anne of the Island

The tale of the lively and imaginative Anne has captivated generations of readers, transporting them to the quaint setting of Green Gables, an old-fashioned farmstead outside Avonlea in Canada.

Anne bids firmly farewell to childhood as she embarks on the adventure that is attending Redmond College. In all the bustle that is Kingsport, Nova Scotia, she is lucky to have old friend Philippa Gordon by her side, and soon makes new friends. One in particular, tall, dark, handsome Roy Gardner, showers her with poetic gestures, something the hopeless romantic Anne can not resist. But is he truly the man for her?

Anne of the Island is the third book in the series about Anne of Green Gables.
