In this enchanting Clangers story, read by Oliver Postgate, a mysterious gift from the Iron Chicken leads Tiny and Small on a musical adventure. Delighted, she begins to create a song of her own — until the hungry Soup Dragon accidentally swallows most of it.

With only two notes left, Small Clanger carefully plants them in the rocky ground, hoping they might grow again. To bring them to life, the pair must ask the Cloud for help — but only polite requests will do. When the rain finally falls, the notes blossom into beautiful Music Trees, their branches hung with fruit-shaped notes that sing in harmony.
