Saving a kingdom, she lost her soul.
In the fading elven kingdom of Sparos, the Grey Plague is swiftly claiming lives. People in the capital live in fear, while the court is tangled in their own, quiet schemes.
Royal Arcanist Istar Sereneni is charged with saving her people, but every path to salvation seems to be a dead end—until desperation drives her toward forbidden magic and a choice that cannot be undone.
Transformed by an ancient power, Istar clings to a fragile hope that her curse may become the key to survival... if it does not consume her first.
A dark fantasy tale of sacrifice and salvation, DAWN OF DARKNESS is the first book in the Fall of Sparos series by C.J. Pyrah.
