#4 The eight limbs of yoga are: yamas and niyamas, the restraints and observances, which are practiced in thought, speech, and action; asana, yoga postures; pranayama, yogic breath control; pratyahara, the withdrawal of the senses; dharana, concentration; dhyana, meditation; and samadhi, the superconscious state.
