What Is Concentrated Solar Power

Concentrated solar power systems create solar electricity by focusing a huge area of sunlight onto a receiver via the use of mirrors or lenses to concentrate the sunlight. The focused light is turned into heat, which either drives a heat engine that is coupled to an electrical power generator or powers a thermochemical process.
