"What do you... Abigail, you're my mate."
"No, I'm not. I have to go," I say, pulling away again, making him growl.
"No. Don't you dare growl at me, Titus. You and Hunter... You think I'm not aware you've been sleeping around? I'm not interested in someone who wasn't willing to wait for me, okay? So why don't you just... reject me now? Save us both the trouble," I said, making him growl again.
"What the hell are you talking about, Abigail? I've never been with another woman. I've waited for you. For my fated mate, and it's you!" he says, his eyes turning dark. "Whether you like it or not, ABIGAIL," he continues, pulling me by the arm against him again and holding me in place, "you are my mate, and I will not reject you. You are mine and will always be mine."
